Our professional team of expert diamond graders
carefully hand-pick each diamond to ensure the best combination
of cut, colour, clarity and carat weight.
To give you extra piece of mind, the majority of our diamonds
are provided with a Diamond Certificate. A Diamond Certificate
is a 'blueprint' of a loose diamond. It tells you
the diamond's exact measurements and weight, as well as
the details of its cut and quality. It precisely points out all
the individual characteristics of the stone.
There are many diamond grading labs in operation, many of which
produce their own grading reports. Different labs have different
grading standards, and some labs will be more lenient with their
standards than others. The IGI, GIA, HRD and EGL are the most
widely regarded and recognised diamond grading labs in the world.
IGI Diamond Report: The International Gemological Institute
(IGI) is the largest independent grading and appraisal organisation
in the world. The IGI was founded in 1975 in Antwerp and has grown
to over 350 scientific technicians and gemologists who issue more
than 550,000 reports a year. The IGI Diamond Report provides a
full page A4 report, a diamond diagram, photograph and unique security
features. You can find out more at the IGI website.
GIA Diamond Grading Report: The Gemological Institute of
America (GIA) is the world's largest and most respected non-profit
institute of gemological research and learning. The GIA Gem Trade
Laboratory was established in 1949 and has grown to nearly 400
staff operating in New York and California. The GIA Diamond Grading
Report includes a full page A4 report, or an A5 Diamond Dossier,
with a diagram of your diamond's clarity characteristics
and unique security features. You can find out more at the GIA website.
HRD Diamond Certificate: Established in 1973 as the 'Hoge
Raad voor Diamant' or the 'Diamond High Council',
the organisation is the major employer of the Antwerp diamond sector.
The HRD Diamond Certificate provides a full page A4 report, a diamond
diagram, photograph and unique security features. You can find out more at the HRD website.
EGL Diamond Certificate: Established in 1974 in Antwerp,
the European Gemology Lab (EGL) is now the largest independent
network of gemological labs around the world. An experienced and
approved EGL gemologist operates each lab and diamonds are submitted
to them for examination. The EGL Diamond Certificate provides a
full page A4 report, a diamond diagram and unique security features.
